CDW is the waste generated by excavations, construction, renovations and demolitions: concrete, bricks, ceramics, asphalt, soil and stones. It is one of the heaviest waste streams in Europe — and one of the most recoverable. Properly processed, it returns to technical works as secondary aggregates, reducing the need to quarry new natural resources.
Under JMD 36259/1757/E103/2010 and Law 4819/2021, alternative management of CDW is mandatory for private and public works in Greece. The project manager must deliver the waste to a licensed facility and obtain a reception & management certificate with EWC codes — required to close building permits and hand over projects. We handle the entire process and deliver the certificate to you.
