Who we are

What data we collect
Only what you type into one of the two forms — the consultation request and the skip bin order — or what you tell us if you email or call us directly. There are no user accounts and no automatic collection of personal data as you browse.
Depending on the form, these fields are: full name, telephone, email address, project location or placement address, type of project or materials, estimated start or preferred date, and your description or notes. Name and telephone are required; the rest you fill in only if you wish.
What happens when you press submit. The contents of the form are sent to a script on our own hosting server, which immediately forwards them by email to the company mailbox and then discards them. Nothing is written to a database and no copy is kept on the website. The only lasting record is the email itself, in our mailbox.
If the server is unreachable for any reason, the site falls back to opening your own email program with the same fields pre-filled, so that your request is not lost. In that case the message is sent by you, from your own address.
Why, and on what legal basis
We use what you send us for one purpose only: to answer you and, if it goes further, to prepare and carry out the work you asked about.
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and performance of that contract.
- Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR — compliance with our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records.
We do not use your data for marketing and we do not send newsletters.
Cookies and local storage
This website sets no cookies whatsoever — neither its own nor third-party ones. Submitting a form does not set one either: the request is sent and answered without any session being created.
It does not use your browser's local storage either. The Greek and English versions have separate addresses (alfaplan.gr and alfaplan.gr/en/), so your language choice does not need to be stored anywhere. No consent banner is therefore required.
Third-party resources
To display correctly, the site loads fonts, styles and images from the networks below. None of them places cookies here or tracks you on our behalf, but — as with any resource loaded from another server — your IP address and browser type become technically visible to them for the duration of the request.

There are no analytics tools, no social media pixels, no advertising networks and no embedded videos on this site.
Our hosting provider is the one processor that handles your form data. It hosts the website, runs the script that receives the form and sends the email, and hosts the company mailbox that receives it. It acts on our instructions alone, under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, and does not use your data for its own purposes.
As with any website, the hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and troubleshooting. No form data is passed to any of the content networks listed above.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a project: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Project and contract records: for the duration of the works and thereafter for as long as tax and construction legislation requires — as a rule 10 years.
- CDW management certificates and waste records: for the period required by Law 4819/2021 and JMD 36259/1757/E103/2010.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may at any time ask us for:
- access to the data we hold about you (Art. 15);
- rectification of anything inaccurate (Art. 16);
- erasure (Art. 17), where no legal obligation requires us to keep it;
- restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20);
- to object to processing (Art. 21).

Security and recipients
The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so what you type into a form is protected in transit. Once it arrives, the email is accessible only to the members of our team who need it in order to answer you or carry out the works.
We share it with no one else, except where the law obliges us — for instance with tax authorities, or with licensed waste management bodies where a CDW certificate must be issued in your name — and except our hosting provider, in its role as processor described above.
We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area.
Changes to this policy
If the way this website works changes — for example if we ever add a contact form that submits to a server, or any analytics — we will update this page and change the date at the top before that feature goes live.
